  • Guests can dance joyfully on the charming jetty, which overlooks a serene and tranquil private lake, beautifully adorned with elegant festoon lights that create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

  • Secure gated parking is available to ensure the safety and ease of your guests' arrival. There is also a convenient drop-off area located close to both the dining and ceremony locations for smooth access.

  • Our venue features a well-maintained toilet block as well as a separate, elegantly designed powder room for added convenience.

  • For accommodation, we offer a luxurious 2-bedroom high-set house that boasts spectacular and serene views from the spacious deck, overlooking flourishing fruit trees and beautifully landscaped gardens.

    A highlight of our venue is a breathtaking fountain situated within the private lake, surrounded by tranquil bushland—an idyllic setting tailored to make your special day truly unforgettable.

About Us

We are retired professionals who love gardening and rock and roll dancing. We started building The Rose Garden Shangri-La part-time a couple of years ago while still working full-time. Since retiring we have been able to focus on our venue. We hope our rose gardens will bring you as much pleasure as they bring us, particularly now they have been established for about 4 years and are blossoming every season. We look forward to making your wedding day a special occasion in a charming setting.
